Our company is committed to being trusted voices of light and truth reaching hundreds of millions of people worldwide.Prep Cook (Part-Time) – The Roof | $19–$21/hrWork at One of Salt Lake City’s Most Iconic Hospitality Destinations!Located inside the historic Joseph Smith Memorial Building on Temple Square, The Roof Restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience in one of the most beautiful venues in Utah.We’re looking for Prep Cooks who are passionate professionals and take pride in their craft, contributing to a team known for excellence.Part-time | 15–25 hours/week | 2–3 shiftsWHY YOU’LL LOVE IT HERE:• Competitive pay ($19–$21/hr) based on experience• Work in one of Utah’s most recognizable hospitality locations• Flexible and consistent scheduling with Sunday’s off!• Opportunity for growth and advancement within the organizationWHAT YOU’LL DO:• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, slicing, and portioning according to established recipes and guidelines• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked prep station before, during, and after service• Support line cooks and other kitchen staff during service as needed• Assist with special projects, banquets, and events as assignedWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:• Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook (high-volume experience preferred)• Reliable, positive, and team-oriented attitude• Excellent time management and communication skills• Dependable, team oriented, and strong work ethicJOB ENVIRONMENT/OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:• May be required to work outside of regular business hours, including weekends, early mornings, and holidays, to accommodate business needs• Standing and walking for extended periods of time• Ability to repetitively bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check, as well as abide by all company policies• Takes on additional duties as required or assigned by managementCOMPENSATION:$19.00 - $21.00/hour. This range is inclusive of multiple job levels.
