Job Summary You will lead a cohort of K‑8 students and a team of Guides, ensuring every child enjoys school, progresses twice as fast, and gains real‑world life skills. The role blends coaching, data analysis, and operational oversight, starting as a campus founder and evolving into a strategic coaching executive. What You Will Be Doing Facilitate one‑hour interactive life skills and social‑emotional learning (SEL) sessions with K‑8 students using Alpha’s playbook. Conduct daily motivational sessions to help 100% of students meet weekly application targets through age‑appropriate incentives such as school currency and leaderboards. Develop Guides via direct observation, focused feedback, and practical coaching to maintain high energy and accuracy. Analyze Coachbot data and student records to identify students needing intervention and address those needs personally. Mentor your student cohort directly, modeling the coaching techniques expected of every Guide. What You Won’t Be Doing Creating lesson plans or developing curriculum. Delivering traditional lectures; the role emphasizes performance over content provision. Compromising standards due to external pressure; a student achieving 99% still requires growth focus. Managing office paperwork; the day is spent on direct engagement. Waiting weeks for performance updates; feedback is live and immediate via Coachbot. Coaching Manager Key Responsibilities Fulfill Alpha’s three promises for every child and Guided staff: enjoyment of school, double‑speed learning, and acquisition of genuine life skills. Basic Requirements Current residence in or willing to relocate to one of the listed locations (relocation assistance available). Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related discipline; Master’s preferred. Minimum five years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a comparable field. Demonstrated experience creating and executing educational programs, curricula, or training initiatives. Proven history of managing a team of five or more individuals, including recruitment and performance‑based dismissal decisions. Experience providing coaching, mentorship, or actionable feedback to enhance engagement and results. Experience supporting youth aged 5–14 in educational or developmental contexts. Capability in leveraging data and analytics to inform decisions and drive ongoing improvement. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Nice‑to‑have Requirements Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, or Business. Experience as an athletic coach, camp director, or youth program coordinator who directly inspired children to achieve quantifiable goals. Background coaching adults in performance‑measured roles. Comfort performing before large groups of children; presence that commands attention of 8‑year‑old rooms.
