Our collaborative environment fosters teamwork, where staff can share insights and best practices to enhance patient outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for a range of critical tasks, including:Conducting thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and establishing personalized treatment objectives.Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the use of modalities to alleviate pain and restore functional abilities.Tracking patient progress meticulously, ensuring detailed documentation of treatments and responses to treatment methodologies.Regularly reassessing patient needs and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to facilitate optimal recovery and achievement of therapeutic goals.Providing education and training to patients, their families, and caregivers on the safe use of assistive devices and home exercise regimens.Engaging in ongoing professional development through workshops, seminars, and contribution to professional networks to stay abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy.Patient Population / Client FocusThe successful candidate will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. You will engage with patients of all ages, tailoring your approach to meet their specific recovery needs and ensuring they are empowered to take control of their rehabilitation process.QualificationsTo be considered for this position, candidates must hold:A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.A valid State License to practice Physical Therapy.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.Proficiency in computer skills for documentation and patient management systems.A flexible and adaptable mindset, demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Preferred ExperienceWhile prior work experience in a clinical setting is not required, it is beneficial for candidates to have familiarity with orthopedic rehabilitation practices.
