Registered Nurse (RN) Cancer Center Clinic (FT M-F 8-5)

Role Overview The UMC Cancer Center has a Clinic and Infusion Center that provides care to adult and pediatric patients with non‑cancerous, hematology and/or oncology conditions. As a Registered Professional Nurse, you will assess, implement or delegate, plan, and evaluate total nursing care for a group of patients, and provide and direct patient care following established philosophy. You will relate effectively with other departments to ensure optimal continuity of care. Schedule Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8 am – 5 pm. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. Valid Texas RN License or Eligible Compact License. Minimum of 1 year of RN experience. Oncology experience preferred. Must maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. BSN required, or must be obtained within 3 years of hire. Completion of ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy within 90 days.
