Travel Physical Therapist Assistant

Travel Physical Therapist Assistant for a 13-week contract in Glendive, Montana. Earn up to $2,100 per week based on experience while delivering high-quality PT care under a licensed Physical Therapist. This role offers a full-time schedule, immediate interview opportunities, and a chance to expand clinical skills in a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and independence
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and mobility activities
• Monitor patient progress and communicate treatment responses to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and families about home exercise programs and rehabilitation goals
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation per facility policies and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize outcomes
• Ensure patient safety during all treatment sessions
• Assist in achieving rehabilitation goals and improving overall quality of life

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current Montana Physical Therapist Assistant License or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start
• Current PTA certification in good standing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Preferred Skills:

• Previous travel therapy experience
• Experience treating orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and geriatric patient populations
• Strong patient care and clinical skills
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, hospital, or acute care settings
