Position Summary

As a Cleaning Technician, you'll perform residential and commercial cleaning services following fire, water, mold, and other property damage, as well as specialty cleaning projects. You'll work closely with customers, helping restore their homes and businesses while delivering exceptional service during challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and commercial cleaning services
• Clean contents, furniture, and personal belongings following fire, water, and mold losses
• Complete general, deep, and specialty cleaning projects
• Operate professional cleaning equipment and specialized tools
• Safely use cleaning products and chemicals according to company procedures
• Pack, inventory, transport, and return customer belongings when necessary
• Follow SERVPRO cleaning and restoration procedures
• Document work performed using company software and mobile devices
• Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and work area
• Communicate professionally with customers, office staff, and team members
• Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards
• Assist with emergency response services as needed

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check

Preferred

• Professional cleaning, restoration, janitorial, housekeeping, or custodial experience
• Experience in restoration, construction, or property maintenance
• Experience operating commercial cleaning equipment
• IICRC certifications (or willingness to obtain)

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Bend, kneel, crawl, climb, and reach frequently
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Work in residential, commercial, and industrial environments
• Occasionally work evenings, weekends, or overtime during emergency response events

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday through Friday
• Typical schedule between 7:00 AM and 4:30 PM
• Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required during emergency response situations
