Staff Accountant
Insight Global
This Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations within the corporate accounting team. Responsibilities include Accounts Receivable activities, general ledger support, cash postings, account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities. The person will also assist with audit requests, SOX compliance, and work closely with the team on cross-training initiatives. The environment is fast-paced, and they are looking for someone who can take ownership, identify process improvements, and contribute beyond their assigned tasks.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience (slightly less may be considered for the right candidate)
- Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable experience
- General Ledger experience
- Experience with reconciliations and journal entries
- Exposure to month-end close
- Strong Excel skills - pivot tables/vlookups/IF Formulas/Reconciliation using Excel/Data Validation and review
- Experience working within an ERP system (Oracle or SAP or Microsoft Dynamics or similar)
- Self-starter who can work independently and proactively identify issues
- Corporate Accounting Background preferred
Nice to Have Skills & Experience Oracle ERP experience
Sage Intacct experience
Audit and SOX compliance exposure
Banking or mortgage industry experience
