Call Center Specialist

To support patient access for Capital Medical Group practices, the remote Call Center Specialist will manage incoming patient calls regarding appointment scheduling, registration, and insurance information while ensuring compliance with established protocols and providing excellent customer service. Key responsibilities Receive and respond to patient calls in a timely and professional manner Schedule appointments and update patient information in Epic according to established workflows Verify insurance eligibility and provide patients with information regarding financial responsibilities Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Preferred experience in healthcare customer service, inbound call center, or scheduling in a medical office Knowledge of healthcare scheduling, registration, and insurance preferred Strong data-entry skills and ability to multitask in a high-volume environment Familiarity with electronic health records and department-specific applications
