Location: Tampa, FL (3 days onsite in a week) Contract to hire Required Skills: 5+ years of back-end development experience with Python. Strong hands‑on experience with FastAPI, Microservices Architecture, and ASGI servers such as Uvicorn. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker image creation, deployment pipelines, and troubleshooting build/release issues. Strong knowledge of Unit Testing and Test‑Driven Development (TDD). Strong experience with AI/GenAI in software development. Hands‑on use of GitHub Copilot and other AI coding tools (e.g., Codex, Antigravity, Devon, Claude Code). Ability to leverage, validate, and optimize AI‑generated code. Ensure AI‑generated code is clean, consistent, and free of unnecessary repetition. Familiarity with AI agent tools beyond Copilot is a plus. Experience using OpenTelemetry or similar monitoring tools for exception tracking and alerting. Experience interpreting Jira business requirements and writing test cases before development. Hands‑on experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding tools (Codex, Devin, Claude Code, Cursor, etc.). Ability to validate, optimize, and maintain AI‑generated code for consistency and quality. Experience with OpenTelemetry, Splunk, or similar monitoring and logging tools.
