About the Role
We are seeking reliable and safety-focused Vehicle Operators to support autonomous vehicle data collection efforts. In this role, you will operate test vehicles along designated routes while helping gather real-world driving data that contributes to the advancement of autonomous driving technology.
Responsibilities
- Drive test vehicles for 4–8 hours per day while adhering to strict safety protocols
- Follow predefined driving routes and data collection procedures
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic operational checks
- Operate software and equipment used for data collection
- Document observations, issues, and unusual events during testing
- Communicate findings and feedback to engineering and operations teams
- Assist with vehicle maintenance coordination, storage, and logistics as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of licensed driving experience in the United States
- At least 1 year of professional driving experience, including rideshare, delivery, shuttle, bus, commercial, fleet, or similar driving roles
- Comfortable driving for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record review, and drug screening
Schedule Options
Morning Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
- Wednesday – Sunday
- Thursday – Monday
- Saturday – Wednesday
Afternoon Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)
- Tuesday – Saturday
- Wednesday – Sunday
- Thursday – Monday
- Friday – Tuesday
- Saturday – Wednesday
- Sunday – Thursday
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: $28.00 per hour
- Scheduled pay increase of $0.50 per hour every 6 months based on tenure
