Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery for a permanent position in Goldsboro, NC. This role requires providing competent clinical nursing care in line with professional standards within a hospital environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Nurse Manager/Director to coordinate and deliver patient care.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery:

• Identify and meet personal learning needs; attend relevant education programs
• Use patient education materials and assess readiness to learn
• Identify patient outcomes and revise care plans as needed
• Collaborate with the team to evaluate care and ensure continuity
• Provide safe, competent care for patients with complex needs
• Perform point-of-care testing and follow standards and policies
• Organize and prioritize care; consult resources for complex issues
• Set and achieve professional growth goals; support unit objectives
• Communicate effectively and give feedback to coworkers
• Promote safety, cleanliness, and cost-effective care
• Assess patient needs, anticipate discharge, and support family advocacy
• Plan care collaboratively, using multidisciplinary resources and cultural awareness
• Stay informed through journals and share ideas for practice improvement

Requirements of the Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery:

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS (AHA or ARC) certification
• NRP certification
• Nursing Diploma OR ADN or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing
• One (1) year of nursing experience
