The Senior Tax Accountant is responsible for preparing complex tax returns, conducting tax research, assisting with tax planning strategies, and managing client relationships. This role serves as a key resource for staff accountants and works closely with managers and partners to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations while delivering exceptional client service. Qualifications - 3-5+ years of tax preparation experience in a public accounting firm required - Experience preparing complex tax returns for a variety of entities. - Familiarity with tax planning, research, and client advisory services. - Proficiency in CCH Axcess or ProSystem fx preferred; experience with other tax software considered - Working knowledge of federal and state tax compliance requirements - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail - Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively during peak season - Professional communication skills and a client-service mindset - CPA licensed - Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field required; 150 credit hours preferred Equal Employment Opportunity It is the policy of Patrick Casey & Co.
