Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
Location: Garland County, AR
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Shift: 13:00 - 01:00
Job Description: As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will provide critical care and support for patients with varying conditions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and participate in emergency care protocols and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Perform assessments, triage, and implement patient care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions and document care provided.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Valid RN license in Arkansas.
- ACLS, PALS certifications required; NRP preferred.
- TNCC certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to float to ICU, CCU, or Med-Surg as needed.
- Experience with trauma, cardiac, and orthopedic patients is highly desirable.
