Anesthesiology opening in New York- Johnson City, NY- Full timeA **Board Eligible or Board Certified Anesthesiology Nocturnist** is sought to join a busy, well-established anesthesiology practice serving a multi-hospital system in the **Southern Tier of Upstate New York**. This not-for-profit, community-focused health system is dedicated to improving the health of the populations it serves through comprehensive, high-quality, and cost-effective care.**Practice Overview*** Join a large anesthesiology team consisting of **14 physicians and 20 CRNAs*** Provide coverage at two acute care hospitals, including a **Level II Trauma Center*** Additional opportunities available for extra shifts at an affiliated community hospital* Broad case mix including general anesthesia and **light cardiac cases*** Call schedule of approximately **1:4**, with resident rotation support**Compensation and Benefits*** Competitive annual salary of **$675,000*** **$50,000 sign-on bonus*** Excellent benefits package, including a **pension and defined benefit plan*** Eligibility for **partnership after two years**, with an associated salary increase**Academic Environment*** Teaching hospital environment with affiliations to regional academic medical centers* Participation in residency and fellowship training programs, collectively training more than 100 physicians annually**Location and Lifestyle**Located in Upstate New York’s Southern Tier, the region offers exceptional quality of life with easy driving access (approximately 2–5 hours) to major cities and destinations including New York City, Buffalo, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Boston, and multiple East Coast and Canadian destinations.
