A premier North Carolina domestic relations law firm is immediately adding a dynamic Family Law Client Intake Specialist to its high-performing team. Serving as the vital first point of contact for prospective legal clients, this high-visibility position drives firm lead conversions, manages initial client onboarding, and oversees prospective consultation scheduling within a supportive, growth-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Prospective Client Vetting: Lead high-volume initial screening calls and digital inquiries for individuals facing divorce, child custody, and complex marital estate matters. Conflict Identification: Conduct thorough conflict-of-interest checks in law firm database systems prior to scheduling attorney consultations. Consultation Scheduling: Manage consultation calendars for domestic litigation attorneys, capturing critical metrics and preliminary factual summaries. Fee Agreement Management: Draft, issue, and track client retainer agreements, fee arrangements, and onboarding documentation. CRM & Database Administration: Maintain real-time data integrity within legal CRM systems, tracking lead conversion pipelines and intake metrics. Lead Nurturing: Follow up empathetically with prospective clients to guide them through firm services, legal processes, and consult preparation. Qualifications & Skills Experience: 1+ years of legal intake, prospective client consultation, or sales/onboarding experience in a law firm environment (family law or civil litigation preferred). Core Competencies: Strong emotional intelligence, exceptional active listening, and high-volume phone engagement skills. Technical Savvy: Proficiency with legal CRM platforms (Lawmatics, Salesforce), legal practice management software (Clio, MyCase), and MS Office.
