Additional responsibilities include ensuring technical milestones are achieved, guiding other team members' designs, leading technical design reviews, and ensuring specification requirements input and design outputs align.Mikros Technologies (a Jabil company) liquid cooling systems are deployed servers in large AI data centers and help to increase the energy efficiency of these sites. We also make active liquid cooling systems that are utilized in semiconductor test equipment for providing fast thermal control to maintain a constant temperature under a varying heat load.This is an onsite role in Claremont, NH. Relocation assistance available. Competitive salary including bonus opportunities.What will you do?Partners with system architects to review and clarify design requirements and define the appropriate mechanical/thermal architecture.Expertly assemble prototypes and verifies form/fit/function.Work with and manage external component suppliers/manufacturers and provide input to their product roadmapsCommunicates technical aspects of a project effectively to internal and external customers.Define design innovations and potential patentable solutionsLeads resolution of complex design issues and manages design trade-offsLeader in developing and validating complex mechanical products that are required across all Business Units.Leads/supervises mechanical layouts utilizing standard toolsDirects all aspects of mechanical design with minimal supervisionManages/coaches/trains engineers with less experienceHow will you get here?Education:Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplineMSME/PhD is preferredExperience:8+ years' experience in mechanical design and / or verification or other key competency.Demonstrated experience in full cycle mechanical design and releasing products into a production environment.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Detailed knowledge and use of key development tools and design standards: 3D CAD, Finite Element Analysis, Tolerances, Manufacturing Principles, Interference ChecksBroad knowledge developing high complexity projects that have required one of more of Mechanical Engineering Design specializations or competencies: Tolerance Analysis, DFM, ServiceabilityLeads mechanical engineering projects with multiple engineers assigned.Leads cross-functional and ME design reviewsDetailed knowledge (with moderate complexity) of Industry or specific sector, regulatory and safety standards.Influence others and share best practicesEffectively communicate with good understanding of EnglishWork as part of a global teamAssess a project and articulating risk while developing project milestones.Develop projects in a stage-gate process (PLCQ)Ability to mentor less experienced engineersLeadership Capabilities (People Leader) "M" Career StreamLead, mentor, and manage a team of mechanical design engineers, providing direction, support, and guidance to ensure their success and professional development.
