These values include:Curiosity: Leading with imagination to catalyze growth and innovation.Inclusivity: Creating a welcoming environment that embraces diversity.Excellence: Striving for the highest standards in all endeavors.Responsibility: Upholding commitments to veterans and preserving the organization’s legacy.Job SummaryWork as a team to provide exemplary customer service to guests attending special and social events.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for following established procedures for reporting availability to the Banquet Operations Administrator to ensure proper and regular scheduling.Adhere to established dress code/appearance/cleanliness expectations.Adhere to organizational and departmental timekeeping procedures.Responsible for following established procedures of serving food and beverage to guests.Participate in, adhere to, and keep current with TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures).Ensure that assigned station is properly set, regularly cleared of dirty dishware and glassware, spills cleaned immediately.Able to notify MOD of any issues of concern regarding overall food/beverage service and/or behavior of guests, other staff.Ensure that walkways/hallways are neat and free of tripping, slipping hazards.Return clean linens, centerpieces, serving items, trays, etc. to storage.Responsible for running trays of food, as needed.Maintain floor presence unless relieved by a manager or clearing.Responsible for tray passing food and alcohol.Responsible for cocktailing assigned section, upon request.Must be able to set events in a scheduled time frame.Must be able to perform duties included with set up, side work, and break down of a variety of events.Attention to detail is essential.Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment is support of the Organizational Strategic Initiatives and “preferred culture.”Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.Other duties as assigned.Previous banquet or restaurant experience preferred, TIPS training a plus.Flexible schedule, reliability, and access to internet to ensure ongoing communication regarding schedules, notices, etc.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have a sense of urgency, be able to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining focus on exemplary customer service.Frequent lifting required up to 30 lbs.Prolonged sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending required. #J-18808-Ljbffr Priority Dispatch Corp.
