About the Role
The Company is in search of an inaugural dean for its newly established Honors College. This visionary and entrepreneurial academic leader will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, advancing the institution's commitment to excellence, and shaping the future of honors education. The successful candidate will be expected to strengthen the College's institutional profile, enhance the student experience, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and cultivate partnerships to support the College's growth. The role involves working closely with academic and administrative leaders to position the Honors College as a defining feature of the institution and a catalyst for academic excellence and student achievement. Applicants for the dean position should be accomplished academic leaders with an earned doctorate or equivalent terminal degree and a record of scholarly achievement. A deep commitment to student success and undergraduate academic excellence is essential, with experience in honors education, undergraduate research, or similar mission-driven academic programs being highly desirable. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional relationship-building skills, the ability to lead through collaboration and influence, and the integrity necessary to inspire confidence across the academic community. The dean will be a key member of the University's academic leadership team, reporting to the provost, and will play a pivotal role in the institution's continued growth and distinction.
