Quality Technician II (QA)

Pay: $28.00/hour Shift: 2nd Shift, 2:30pm-11:00pm, Monday-Friday

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Technician II to join our Quality Assurance team in a clean room manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing advanced inspections, reviewing quality records, supporting investigations, analyzing quality data, and ensuring compliance with established quality standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has prior experience working in a clean room, is comfortable wearing full clean room PPE for the duration of their shift, and possesses a strong understanding of quality systems, documentation practices, and manufacturing processes. Responsibilities:

• Perform visual, dimensional, and in-process inspections on products throughout the manufacturing process.
• Review and approve inspection records, quality documentation, and production paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
• Accurately document inspection findings and maintain quality records using electronic quality systems.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and communicate findings to Quality, Engineering, and Production teams.
• Support investigations involving nonconforming materials, process deviations, and quality-related issues.
• Assist with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct audits of manufacturing documentation and quality records to ensure compliance with established procedures.
• Work in a clean room environment while wearing full clean room gowning and PPE throughout the shift.
• Communicate quality concerns and provide recommendations for process and product improvements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready work area.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of quality inspection or quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience working in a clean room is required.
• Willingness and ability to wear full clean room attire for the entire shift.
• Experience reviewing quality records, production documentation, and inspection reports.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other computer-based quality and data entry systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to follow written procedures and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in a technical, scientific, engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments such as medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, electronics, or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience supporting CAPA activities, nonconformance investigations, internal audits, or quality system initiatives.
• Experience analyzing quality data and utilizing data to identify trends and drive process improvements.
