Overview Licensed Practical Nurse – Long Term Care in South Boston, Virginia. Start date: 09/12/2026. This is an 8-week travel assignment with 12-hour day shifts (7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.), in a long-term care facility setting. Pay range is $1,178 to $1,205 per week. Travel temporary assignment with no guaranteed hours. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,178–$1,205 per week Contract duration: 8 weeks Shifts: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., 3 days per week Start date: 09/12/2026 Setting: Long-term care facility (LTC) Orientation: First couple hours of the first shift Responsibilities Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policies Monitor residents’ condition, perform focused assessments, and document changes Provide routine nursing care, wound care, vital signs, and activity of daily living support Promote resident safety, comfort, and dignity; assist with mobility and personal care Accurately document care and interventions in the electronic health record Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust individualized care plans Requirements Active Virginia LPN license 12 months of recent LPN experience LPN certification as required by the role Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a long-term care setting Credentials due by 09/09/2026 or ASAP Orientation will be provided during the first shift Benefits and Support Orientation provided during the first shift Credentialing and onboarding support with ongoing assistance from a designated account manager Dedicated support throughout the assignment to help manage onboarding and placement logistics Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
