Football - Assistant Coach

POSITION: Assistant Football Coach – Moscow Middle School Start Date: August 24, 2026 Season: Fall (August – October) Job Summary Serve as an assistant coach for the middle school football team, carrying out the objectives of the program as outlined by the head coach and school administration. Instruct athletes in individual and team fundamentals of skills, strategy, and training necessary to achieve a degree of individual and team success. Responsibilities Assist the head coach in planning, organizing, and conducting daily practices. Teach fundamentals of football, including techniques, tactics, and conditioning. Help develop athletes’ individual skills and team cohesion. Support the implementation of the school’s policies and procedures related to coaching. Maintain a positive, respectful, and safe environment for all participants. Qualifications Completed courses as required by the IHSAA or the district for the coaching position. Knowledge and background in football. Previous coaching experience in football (preferred). Valid driver’s license if required to operate a district vehicle.
