What You'll Do
- Evaluate patient functions through formal and informal assessment measures
- Develop and implement goal-specific treatment plans following physicians' orders
- Submit and update treatment regimes in the plan of care
- Document treatment progress and communicate with healthcare team
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on pathology, treatment options, and prognosis
- Assist in delegation and supervision of aides and supporting staff
- Collaborate to support overall patient recovery and progress
What You Need
- Valid PTA license in Michigan
- Relevant outpatient therapy experience preferred
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care
