License/Certs: Valid Physical Therapist license required

Experience: Prior outpatient therapy experience preferred, 1+ year recommended

What You'll Do

• Evaluate patient functions through tests and assessments of skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status
• Develop and implement goal-specific treatment plans, updating as necessary
• Communicate treatment plans with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Provide supervision to Physical Therapist Assistants, aides, and students
• Educate patients and caregivers on pathology, prognosis, and treatment strategies
• Recommend adaptive/supportive equipment and assist with securing necessary devices
• Document patient responses, treatment plans, and billing information accurately
• Promote physical therapy and health education in the community
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to healthcare standards and regulations

What You Need

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Michigan
• Ability to perform evaluations and develop treatment plans in outpatient settings
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Uphold safety procedures and handle multiple tasks effectively

• At least 1 year of outpatient experience
• Ability to educate and motivate patients and their families
