Press Operator II - Aerospace - 2nd Shift

Location: Renton Schedule: 3:00PM - 1:30AM; Monday - Thursday Pay Range: $24.25-28.25/hour DOE + 10% Shift Differential About the Company SEKISUI Aerospace manufactures advanced composite structures and aerospace components used by leading aircraft manufacturers. Summary The Press Operator uses computers to set up and run cure programs for the press and layup panels using Prepreg fabric and honeycomb core according to Standard Work Instructions. Level II Experienced/Intermediate level is a semi-skilled worker who operates machines, factory‑related processing equipment, or vehicles. Has acquired skills from training and work experience, has limited autonomy, and works under moderate supervision. Achieves competency with skills assigned to this level. Tasks Layup composite panels using Prepreg fabric, honeycomb core, potting, and review recipe configurations to ensure all cure specifications are met. Meet schedules, time allowances and monitor oven cures frequently to ensure no discrepancies in software program; updating supervisor. Decipher parts and quantities requiring additional probes, wires, fixtures, or thermocouple placement before oven cure process. Remove probes, wires, fixtures, and clean all parts prior to distributing to the next process. Required Qualifications Advanced math skills. Ability to comprehend and follow written specifications. Possess analytical and problem‑solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Forklift operation experience. Education High School Diploma or GED preferred. Experience One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred. Computer Skills Advanced computer skills. Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift, and overtime).
