Contract Inpatient Pharmacist

An opportunity is available for an Inpatient Pharmacist with inpatient experience to support a large health-system in the Northern CA. This role focuses on delivering high-quality pharmacy services. The position is a 3-6-month contract, requiring candidates to commit for the full duration of contract.

Location: Northern, CA Setting: Inpatient Schedule: Mixed days/evenings/weekend rotation System: EPIC/Meditech/Cerner Duration: 3-6 Month Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee intravenous (IV) admixtures in compliance with safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient-centered pharmaceutical care
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements
• Utilize EPIC system for accurate and efficient documentation and medication order processing

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active CA Pharmacist license is mandatory
• Minimum of 1 year hospital experience, including sterile compounding or IV room operations
• Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy procedures and standards
• Proficiency in using EPIC/Meditech/Cerner electronic health records systems
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and teamwork skills

Compensation: $70 - $85/hour (DOE and specific skill/role)

*Eligible travel candidates may also receive housing and meals/incidentals stipends.
