Program Management Specialist – Senior – Space Portfolio As a program management specialist, you will support a full life‑cycle program, ensuring that key stakeholders, contracts, and budgets remain on track. You will translate complex technical discussions into clear project milestones, proactively identify gaps, and develop tools such as workflow templates and dashboards to keep the program moving forward. Responsibilities Implement and maintain organizational programs supporting the Space portfolio. Work with stakeholders to review risks, manage contracts, and track program costs. Coordinate tactical planning and communicate regularly with customers, software engineers, AI/ML SMEs, and program managers. Translate technical exchanges into clear program milestones and provide proactive operational guidance. Create structural solutions such as workflow templates, tracking tools, and dynamic dashboards. Qualifications 5+ years supporting Department of War or industry information technology programs. 3+ years in technical project management or operations for highly self‑sufficient technical teams. Experience with project‑management tools and PowerPoint communication. Knowledge of Agile, SAFe, and Lean Portfolio Management practices. Self‑starter; able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision. Cross‑organisational collaboration, brief authoring, and data‑call response formulation. Secret clearance (required). Bachelor’s degree. Nice to Have Experience preparing and delivering briefing reports to senior government and corporate leadership. Experience with Microsoft Project, Visio, Tableau, or Power BI. Strong listening to technical and architectural discussions. Leveraging industry best practices within Booz Allen. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Top Secret clearance. Master’s degree. Program Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Release Train Engineer (RTE), or ITIL 4 Foundation Certification. Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Compensation The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by factors such as location, education, skills, and experience.
