Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

An experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) is needed for a challenging and rewarding position. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ER environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and triage incoming patients in the emergency department.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes in status.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided in the medical record.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
• Current active RN license in Minnesota.
• Current certifications: NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).

Additional Requirements

• Ability to float to different areas within the ER as needed.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
• No more than 7 days of requested time off.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficient in managing multiple patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
