Dryer Line Operator – 3 rd Shift: Rochelle, IL

Our customer in Rochelle, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Dryer Line Operators to work full-time on 3rd shift. As a Dryer Line Operator, you will be responsible for set up and control of the dryer and filling machines for the manufacturing process according to customer specifications. 

Responsibilities of the  Dryer Line Operator :

• Set up and control operation of the dryer and filling machines. 
• Manufacture products according to customer specifications. 
• Monitor equipment, process output, and finished product quality. 
• Record required information accurately and communicate material issues to the Extruder Operator. 

Dryer Line Operator   Requirements and Qualifications:

• Sufficient reading and writing skills in English to read cover sheets and set-up forms, identify box labels or other identification means, and record information from tags and boxes to a Rework Log. 
• Sufficient math skills to count or measure dry weights using specific units of measurement and calculate changes in inputs, number of boxes produced, and pounds produced. 
• Ability to pay attention to detail when operating equipment, making system checks, and recording data and information. 
• Ability to analyze data and make necessary system changes to keep finished products within required specifications. 
• Ability to lift at least 25 kg (55.115 pounds). 
• Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment. 
• Must be able to communicate properly on material issues to the Extruder Operator. 
• NO nail polish. 
• NO visible piercings, including tongue rings. 
• Must have clean-ish steel-toed boots. Boot covers will be provided, so the boots do not need to be brand new. 

Pay for  Dryer Line Operator : $18.00/hour.

Schedule: Monday - Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm while training. 3rd Shift: 7:00pm – 7:20am.
