Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-driven individual to support the accounting department by performing various financial and clerical tasks, including processing financial data, preparing financial documents, and maintaining accurate records for audits and reports.
You will be responsible for reviewing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll activities to ensure accuracy and daily bank transactions to include; positive pay management and remote deposit processing.
Other Key Responsibilities:
Clerical Support: Provide general clerical support to the accounting team, ensuring smooth operations.
Payroll and Audit: Assist with annual and quarterly payroll tax preparation and filings and periodic audit report preparation.
Document Management: Handle filing, scanning, and organizing financial documents to ensure easy access, accuracy, and compliance with regulations.
Data Entry: Responsible for entering financial data into accounting software, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in record-keeping.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 2+ years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
Software: Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $37,500 to $46,000 per year depending on qualifications.
Benefits: Health, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance; paid time off (PTO).
