Job Summary
We are looking for an L1 Support Technician to support thin-client deployment, upgrades, hardware replacement, and troubleshooting across healthcare facilities in Nebraska and Iowa.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, rename, and upgrade thin-client devices.
- Configure devices using Wyse Management Suite (WMS).
- Support Windows 10/11 and Windows 11 Persistent VDI.
- Troubleshoot hardware, peripherals, and network connectivity issues.
- Replace desktops/thick clients with thin-client devices.
- Install applications and validate device functionality.
- Update device inventory and asset records in ServiceNow HAM.
- Document deployment activities and escalate technical issues.
- Travel between assigned healthcare facilities in Nebraska and Iowa.
Required Skills
- Experience in desktop support or L1 IT support.
- Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and thin-client devices.
- Basic networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN, and Wi-Fi.
- Understanding of VDI environments and hardware troubleshooting.
- Experience with device deployment and asset management.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to travel between assigned sites.
Preferred: Experience with Wyse Management Suite, ServiceNow HAM, healthcare IT, and large-scale device deployment projects.
