Role Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized measures and observational insights.
• Create individualized treatment strategies that focus on immediate goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Deliver dedicated speech therapy services concentrated on areas such as language, articulation, fluency, voice modulation, and dysphagia.
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and medical professionals to develop unified treatment approaches.
• Provide educational resources and support to patients and families to facilitate progress beyond clinical settings.
• Engage in occasional inpatient assessments and therapeutic interventions to ensure seamless care throughout the continuum.
• Maintain diligent and timely records, adhering to state and organizational frameworks.
• Stay engaged with the latest advancements in the field through continued learning and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a regionally accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those not yet ASHA certified.

Licensures & Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting.
