Calyx Living is actively seeking an energetic Cook for our BRAND NEW assisted living community, Calyx Living of Apex ! We are located in beautiful Apex just off I-540 at Hwy 64. Calyx is looking to hire NOW Cooks who are enthusiastic about working with a small crew in our kitchen, impacting the lives of seniors by preparing and presenting food. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter with past experience cooking and preparing meals in a senior living setting. Responsibilities Prepare and present meals for residents in a senior living setting. Follow recipes and plate food in an attractive manner. Interact with residents in a professional and friendly manner. Work efficiently during peak meal service times. Join and contribute to a small kitchen team. Support compliance with state regulations established for food service. Prepare, organize and handle minimal special requests of senior residents. Available to work weekends.
