Business Analyst (M&A Integration)

Insight Global is seeking 5 Business Analysts (M&A Integrations) to support a Banking Client ! This opportunity is based out of Atlanta, GA , and will be on site 3x a week. Additionally, this opportunity offers quick interviews, competitive rates (ranging fron $45-65/hr. based on years of experience) and lots of room for growth and success, as this opportunity is a long term contract to hire opportunity with a reputable company.

Must Haves:

• Ability to work on site 3x a week in Atlanta, GA
• Ability to work on a W2 basis without sponsorship
• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience
• Strong background in financial services / banking
• Experience working on: Core banking systems, Treasury / payments / lending platforms
• Experience with: Process mapping, Requirements documentation, Data mapping, UAT
• Experience in M&A or system integration projects

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to Integration Management Office (IMO) environments
• Familiarity with: Real-time payments / Zelle, Treasury platforms, Lending systems
• Tools: JIRA, Smartsheets, Confluence, etc.
• Strong communicator (working across multiple teams)
• Able to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
• Detail-oriented but can think big-picture
• “Get it done” mindset

Overview of Project:

• We are supporting a large regional bank undergoing a major merger & acquisition and building out its Integration Management Office (IMO). This initiative is focused on combining two banking organizations into a single operating model ahead of Closing Day 1 (March 2027) , when all portfolios will be fully integrated.
• This role will be responsible for driving integration efforts across technology, compliance, and operations , ensuring alignment between business and technical teams. All requirements have already been gathered—the team is now focused on scaling and building out additional resources to support execution of the integration.
• This is not a sit-back-and-analyze BA role — they’re past planning and now executing on a massive bank integration. You’d be working through ~2000+ requirements, refining, mapping, and helping get everything ready for conversion. It’s fast, messy, but super high-impact — and M&A experience like this is huge for your resume
• ~30 total hires (20 PMs, 10 BAs)
• Long-term program through ~2030 (high potential for extensions/perm)
• Currently in execution phase (Phase 3)
• Phase 1: Tooling (Smartsheets)
• Phase 2: Planning / requirements buildout
• Phase 3: Execution + conversion readiness (current)

Responsibilities:

• Refine and validate existing business requirements (~2000+)
• Conduct process mapping and gap analysis across merged systems
• Support data mapping and migration activities
• Partner with business + technical stakeholders to clarify requirements
• Ensure requirements are testable, complete, and aligned to conversion goals
• Facilitate UAT readiness and support testing cycles
• Document work in tools like JIRA, Smartsheets, or similar PM tools
• Act as a liaison between business and tech teams
• Identify risks, inconsistencies, and integration gaps
• Support conversion readiness (Day 1 go-live
