Training Manager

Overview Training Manager — Greenwood, SC, USA. Reports to the Senior HR Manager (solid line) and GM of Operations (dotted line). Responsibilities Skill Needs Assessments & Planning: conduct comprehensive assessments to identify competency gaps across all facility levels; collaborate with managers, supervisors, and engineers to align training with plant KPIs and ISO standards; develop and maintain a facility-wide training plan that includes functional contribution training, specialized technical skills, and certifications. Management-Level Training (Leadership & Compliance): design and facilitate onboarding for new supervisors to ensure understanding of production workflows and safety leadership; design and implement a 3‑level management training program for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level managers; provide coaching techniques, train-the-trainer practices, and performance auditing training; ensure leadership is updated on OSHA regulations, ISO requirements, and Solar industry standards (awareness of product and process). Hourly-Level Training (Technical & Operational): frequently assess hands-on training for new hires; deliver on-the-job assessments and review outcomes to improve training materials in collaboration with Trainers to verify classroom understanding on the floor; identify gaps across shifts for exempt and non-exempt training relative to the site training plan. Documentation & Compliance: maintain accurate, audit-ready training registers and matrices using a Learning Management System (LMS) or equivalent; monitor training feedback and benchmark against SOPs to refine instructional materials; coordinate site BCPCoordinator activities and contribute to PDCA thinking; ensure IMS compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 integration. Education & Experience Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Human Resource Management and/or Organizational Development Manufacturing cross-functional training experience for more than 8 years Experience working in a multi-cultural environment Stakeholder collaboration skills Strong systems thinker with the ability to lead groups at different levels for training and capability building High-performance team development across all levels Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Train the Trainer Self-starter with strong work ethic, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Knowledge of ISO and regulatory standards Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Proven ability to manage projects and work with cross-functional teams Working Conditions Predominantly stationed at a desk and/or in the administrative training facilities or management offices Must be able to stand and walk up to 25% of the workday as required by leadership Wear the required PPE at all times in the manufacturing area when required by leadership; other personal protective equipment as dictated by departmental policies or job tasks #J-18808-Ljbffr ES Foundry Corp.
