As a Registered Nurse in the ER, you will coordinate and implement individualized care plans for patients, utilizing your expertise to optimize outcomes and maximize resources. You will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Your role will involve collaborating with the healthcare team to provide quality outcomes and coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, and referrals.

• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on assessments
• Utilize evidence-based practices to ensure quality outcomes
• Provide patient and family education tailored to individual needs
• Delegate tasks effectively to ancillary personnel
• Precept student nurses and new hires as needed
• Adhere to professional and ethical standards
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Current and active Colorado RN license or Compact license
• Current BLS certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire)
• Current ACLS certification (or obtain within 6 months of hire)
• Current PALS or ENPC certification (or obtain within 1 year of hire)
• Current TNCC certification (or obtain within 1 year of hire)
• Current STABLE certification (or obtain within 1 year of hire)
• Current NRP certification (or obtain within 1 year of hire)
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing or related field preferred
• Need 2 years experience in setting
• 1 year of Emergency Department or Critical Care Nursing experience preferred
