Appliance Repair Technician

Tager Appliance Repair is hiring. We are an award-winning, family-owned appliance repair company serving the Kansas City area, and we are looking for the right person to join our team. This position can work for someone with appliance repair experience, or someone mechanically inclined who is willing to learn the trade the right way.

What we offer:

• Starting pay at $20/hour during training
• $25/hour during the ramp-up period after training
• $27/hour once fully released and consistently running a full schedule
• Growth potential up to $30/hour
• Bonus potential up to an extra $1,000/month
• Average week is around 45 hours
• Time and a half paid after 40 hours
• No weekends
• No major holidays

• After one year: 5 vacation days and 5 PTO days

What we're looking for:

• Valid driver's license
• Clean, professional appearance
• Good communication skills
• Mechanically minded
• Comfortable working in customers' homes
• Able to use a phone for job notes, photos, and invoicing
• Willing to follow company systems
• Dependable and on time

For experienced technicians, this is a chance to step into steady work with a full schedule, office support, and no weekend calls. For someone new to appliance repair, we provide structured training and a real path to grow. You are not on your own. Our office handles scheduling, customer calls, parts support, and follow-up, so our technicians can focus on repairing appliances. This is not a temporary job.
