Role: Social Media Content Creator & Maker Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid/On-site) Compensation: $47,000 – $63,000 per year + Full Benefits I am currently partnering with a premier, integrated creative agency in Chicago to find a powerhouse Content Creator who lives and breathes social-first storytelling. My client is a disruptive, idea-driven shop known for challenging the status quo across CPG, retail, and wellness sectors. They are looking for a true "maker"—someone who can take a concept from a rough sketch to a scroll-stopping final edit. The Vibe: This agency isn’t looking for followers; they want leaders. They pride themselves on an inclusive, high-energy culture where experimentation is encouraged and staying ahead of the curve is the standard. What You’ll Be Doing: End-to-End Production: You will be responsible for the ideation, shooting, editing, and designing of native content for TikTok, Meta, YouTube, and X. Trend-Spotting: You’ll stay embedded in digital culture to identify emerging trends and translate them into authentic brand moments. Strategic Creativity: You won't just make "cool" videos; you’ll work with strategists to ensure every piece of content hits business goals and resonates with global, multicultural audiences. AI Integration: You’ll leverage the latest AI tools and emerging technologies to streamline your workflow and level up the agency’s creative output. Visual Mixology: You’ll balance quick-turn viral content with high-production campaign assets, adapting your style to fit the platform. What We’re Looking For: 1–3 Years of Experience: You have a proven track record of creating engaging social content, preferably within a fast-paced agency or brand environment. The Maker Mindset: You are proficient with a camera and can shoot everything from food and products to lifestyle and people. Tech Stack: Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Canva. Experience with Premiere and After Effects is a huge plus. Platform Expertise: You understand the nuances, algorithms, and technical requirements of TikTok and Meta like the back of your hand. Social Fluency: You have strong design chops, an eye for art direction, and an insatiable curiosity for what’s next in tech.
