This is a hands-on engineering role embedded within the quant team, sitting at the intersection of software development, data, and credit investing. The successful candidate will partner closely with investment professionals, operations, data, and Blackstone’s central technology teams to translate complex, evolving business processes into robust, scalable, and automated technical solutions.Working directly with the business, the candidate will develop a deep understanding of the end-to-end residential mortgage loan lifecycle – from loan sourcing and acquisition through due diligence, financing, servicing oversight, and portfolio management – and will design and build the systems, data infrastructure, and applications that make these processes more efficient, transparent, and scalable.
