Technical Motion Designer

To enhance game experiences for Guild Wars 3, the remote contract Technical Motion Designer will craft motion systems that improve usability, translate static designs into interactive elements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver polished animations. Key responsibilities Translate static designs into fully interactive in-game experiences, enhancing clarity and usability through motion Define and maintain scalable motion systems and materials that align with the game's art direction Collaborate with UI, Tech Art, and Engineering teams to build assets and animations within the game engine Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Motion Design, Visual Design, Graphic Design, Animation, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) 4+ years of experience in games, interactive media, or a related field Portfolio demonstrating strong motion design, visual design, and UX fundamentals Proficiency in tools such as Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D Working knowledge of Unreal Engine, UMG, Shaders/Materials, and implementation workflows
