Location: Lowell, MA
Compensation: $30.00-$37.00 per hour - paid weekly
Schedule: Day shift | Monday-Friday

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Buyer for a medical device manufacturing company in Lowell, MA. In this role, you'll support purchasing and material availability while working closely with suppliers and internal manufacturing teams. • Purchase materials, components, supplies, and services needed to support manufacturing operations
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery schedules
• Monitor purchase orders and follow up to help ensure materials arrive on time
• Work with production, engineering, quality, and other departments to address supply needs and issues
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
• Help resolve supplier, material, pricing, or delivery discrepancies
• Support company quality procedures and requirements within a regulated medical device manufacturing environment

What You Need to Bring to the Buyer Role:

• Previous purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or related manufacturing experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with suppliers and internal teams
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work effectively in a deadline-driven manufacturing environment
• Medical device or other regulated manufacturing experience is a plus #metrocareers
