We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Optometrist to join our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality vision care in a collaborative clinical environment while making a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of the patients we serve.

Sign-on Bonus - $10,000 

• Loan repayment through the NHSC and Michigan State Loan Repayment Program for select roles ( 
  • Optometrists are eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.

Essential Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages

• Diagnose, treat, and manage ocular diseases and vision conditions

• Prescribe corrective lenses and treatments

• Educate patients on vision care, treatment plans, and preventative eye health

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation within the medical record

• Collaborate with healthcare providers and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program

• Current or eligible licensure to practice optometry in the state of Michigan
