Substance Abuse Counselor

Full time substance abuse counselor needed for an opiate addiction treatment center in Doraville/Tucker area. Must be a Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC or CADC) or actively working towards obtaining certification. Required experience as a substance abuse counselor providing individual and/or group counseling. Hours are from 6am – 1pm Monday thru Friday, 8am – 11am every other Saturday. Responsibilities performing clinical counseling services completing intake admissions as well as discharges providing adequate and timely documentation including session notes and treatment plans able to work in a fast paced, team environment conduct individual and group sessions COVID-19 considerations All new hires are required to have a COVID-19 vaccination. Experience and Certification Addiction counseling: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: CAC or CADC (Preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr
