Overview Malayalam Telephonic Interpreters Wanted (Work From Home) – Certified Languages International (CLI) seeks Malayalam-speaking interpreters for a 100% over-the-phone interpretation role. This is a freelance/contract, work-from-home position with a flexible schedule. CLI serves a wide range of industries and has a high volume of calls, including medical interpretations. You can log on and off via the online portal or using a landline; client needs can require availability around the clock. Responsibilities Provide 100% over-the-phone interpretation for Malayalam-speaking clients. Handle calls across industries (medical, insurance, financial, utilities, customer service, state courts, etc.). Work as a freelance interpreter (independent contractor) from home; set your own schedule; 24/7 availability as needed; log on/off through CLI's online portal or landline. Qualifications CLI Language Assessment is required. Interpreting experience is preferred. You must be eligible to work in the United States (SSN or EIN & Photo ID required) and reside in the United States. Compensation & Employment Type Payment is on a per-minute basis and based on minutes spent interpreting on the phone. Payments issued twice monthly, on the 15th and the last day of the month, via direct deposit. Independent contractor (freelance) – remote work from home.
