Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, contract-based position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference during a maternity leave coverage period. You will be primarily engaged with students in the autism program, working onsite to help them develop their communication skills and unlock their potential.

Qualifications:

• Valid SLP license required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred.
• Previous school-based experience or background supporting students with autism is highly desirable.
• Skilled in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting with teachers, aides, and support staff.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in the autism program at the elementary level.
• Conduct assessments, track progress, and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and educational staff to support student goals.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with caregivers regarding student growth.
• Adapt therapeutic techniques to individual student needs and program objectives.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
