Location UCHealth UCHlth Memorial Hospital Central, Colorado Springs, CO, USA Department MHC 4 East Medical Surgical Schedule Full Time, Night Shift, 72.00 hours per 2‑week pay period Pay $35.29 – $54.71 per hour, based on experience. Full‑time night shift registered nurses receive a nightly incentive of $1,600 quarterly ($6,400 annually). Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited or state‑approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years experience. Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). At least 6 months of RN experience. BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) with card active at hire and good through 60 days of employment. Responsibilities Provide top‑scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. Value a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Prioritize patient wellness through evidence‑based practice. Precept new staff and colleagues in a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Deliver clinical care in moderate‑ to high‑acuity Acute Care (Med‑Surg) units. Apply evidence‑based care models and meet specialty certification standards. Participate in individualized specialty education and training as guided by Clinical Educators.
