Laboratory TechnicianThis is a unique company that is well versed in the art and science of catalyst recycling and has been the leader of the catalytic converter and non-ferrous metals recycling industry for over 30 years. We are currently looking for a Laboratory Technician with experience in data collection and interpretation as well as being responsible for performing routine chemical testing of samples in a laboratory setting.Job Description:Document each sample accurately and thoroughlyFollow established written proceduresMaintain, calibrate, and operate analytical instruments including XRF and ICPPrepare chemical solutions used in testing. Testing includes analytical balances, pipettes, and volumetric glasswareClean and maintain laboratory glasswareKeep workspaces clean, safe, and organizedTrack and manage laboratory inventoryFamiliar with lab safety and good laboratory practicesAdhere to laboratory safety protocols and best practicesSkills: Chemistry, LaboratoryTop Skills Details: Chemistry, LaboratoryAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree highly preferred in a Science related field, Biology, Physics or Chemistry.
