Trademark Associate Experience: 2+ Years Location: San Francisco, San Diego, or New York Firm: Leading Law Firm About The Role We are seeking a Trademark Associate with 2+ years of experience to join a highly respected Intellectual Property team. The ideal candidate will have substantial hands‑on experience in trademark prosecution, including domestic and international trademark clearance, as well as enforcement tasks. You will be part of a dynamic team, working on a broad range of trademark‑related matters and helping clients navigate the nuances of brand protection. Key Responsibilities Conduct U.S. and global trademark clearance searches and evaluations. Draft identification of goods/services, evaluate specimens, prepare Statements of Use, and draft office action responses before the USPTO. Counsel clients on Madrid Protocol filings and provide enforcement support, including drafting cease and desist letters, takedown notices, and negotiating settlement or coexistence agreements. Draft trademark, copyright, and NIL licenses and assignments. Provide copyright counseling and domain name enforcement, including UDRP complaints. Assist with corporate transactions and provide diligence support related to trademarks, copyrights, and domains. Advise on content clearance for social media and digital marketing. Qualifications JD from an ABA‑accredited law school. Admission to or eligibility for admission in California or New York. 2+ years of direct trademark experience, with a focus on clearance, prosecution, and enforcement. Why Join?
