To Apply for this Job Click HereIT Development Engineer III – ServiceNow Developer ServiceNow Development | Charlotte, NC Hybrid | Contract-to-Hire About the Role We are supporting a high-performing enterprise Service Operations team that owns and enhances a broad ServiceNow ecosystem supporting multiple business functions and enterprise platforms. This position is focused on hands-on ServiceNow development and is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex workflow challenges, building integrations, and delivering automation at scale. This is not a ServiceNow administrator role; the work is heavily development-focused, with more than 90% of responsibilities centered around designing, building, enhancing, and troubleshooting ServiceNow solutions. The first major initiative will focus on modernizing HR onboarding and offboarding processes through workflow automation, system integrations, and improved employee lifecycle management. Technical Environment ServiceNow Platform JavaScript Flow Designer Integration Hub REST API Integrations Business Rules Client Scripts UI Policies Script Includes Service Catalog Scoped Applications ServiceNow AI / Now Assist ITSM ITOM HRSD HAM Pro Enterprise Platform Integrations Key Responsibilities Build and maintain ServiceNow solutions across multiple business areas and platform modules Develop Service Catalog items, workflows, and automation using Flow Designer Design and implement integrations utilizing Integration Hub, REST APIs, and existing ServiceNow spokes/connectors Create and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and other ServiceNow components Troubleshoot, enhance, and support existing ServiceNow applications and workflows Support onboarding and offboarding modernization initiatives through workflow automation and system integration Contribute to enterprise AI initiatives leveraging ServiceNow capabilities such as Now Assist and AI-driven workflows Work across multiple concurrent initiatives and adapt to changing business priorities Required Experience 3–5 years of ServiceNow development experience in a large enterprise environment Strong JavaScript development experience Hands-on experience building solutions within the ServiceNow platform Experience with Flow Designer and Integration Hub Experience developing and supporting REST API integrations Strong ServiceNow scripting expertise Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions Preferred Experience ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS, or related certifications) PowerShell scripting experience Experience developing custom scoped applications Advanced integration development experience Exposure to Now Assist, AI Search, AI for ITSM, or other ServiceNow AI capabilities Desired Module Experience ITSM ITOM HRSD HAM Pro (Hardware Asset Management) Field Service Management (FSM) Workplace Service Delivery Team Environment Fast-paced environment supporting numerous enterprise initiatives Work managed through a prioritized delivery queue rather than traditional Agile sprint ceremonies Developers are expected to work across multiple projects simultaneously Strong emphasis on ownership, collaboration, and communication Ideal Candidate Profile Strong ServiceNow development background Self-starter who thrives with minimal direction Comfortable navigating ambiguity and changing priorities Excellent collaboration and communication skills Strong sense of ownership and accountability Comfortable working onsite in a hybrid environment Immediate Project Focus Develop workflow automation solutions for onboarding and offboarding modernization Build integrations between HR, identity management, and enterprise systems Enhance employee lifecycle processes Create scalable solutions using Flow Designer and Integration Hub Logistics Hybrid schedule – 4 days onsite per week To Apply for this Job Click HereEqual Employment Opportunity Statement Gravity IT Resources is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
