As a member of the desk, you will be integral in the interaction between research and trading teams; you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge low-latency technologies and will be surrounded by senior technologists providing you with the best possible environment to succeed.How you will make an impact:Have significant experience developing high-availability systems in C++ and Python with very tight resource/latency constraintsExperience interfacing with ultra-low-latency FPGA trading systemsStrong experience working on highly distributed systemsAnalyzing and discussing requirements from stakeholdersFacilitating discussions on code implementation, testing, software architecture best practicesDriving projects and leading new initiativesActively engaging with others on the development team to resolve challenging design and coding issuesEvaluating appropriate new technologies, tools, frameworks, and software components for integrationWhat you bring to the team:Strong understanding of C++ 17 and beyond, Boost, STLKnowledge of Python is a plusA minimum of 4 years of experience in the trading industry Prior experience working on options or derivative products A background in multi-threaded programming and a strong understanding of hardware/software interactionAre comfortable working “under the hood” and skilled in performance tuning (applications, Linux, socket I/O, etc.) and troubleshootingExperience working with Research teams and Quantitative ResearchersStrong understanding of software engineering principles and best practicesDedicated team player and a passionate problem solver with strong interpersonal skillsThe annual base salary range for this position is $200,000 to $225,000 depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
