Senior Analyst, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting

Senior analyst position supporting SEC reporting and external financial disclosures for a large public healthcare company. The role involves preparing quarterly and annual filings, technical accounting, and collaborating across finance and business teams within a structured mentorship environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings with financial statements and footnote disclosures
- Verify accuracy of SEC filings and investor presentations through detailed reconciliation to source documents
- Perform technical accounting for pensions, restructuring, and stock-based compensation
- Support external audit activities and quarterly earnings releases and investor presentations
- Identify and implement process improvements while maintaining SOX compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's degree or CPA preferred
- 2+ years of SEC reporting work experience
- Experience in stock compensation, pension accounting, or financial reporting
- Strong Excel skills and technical accounting knowledge
- Detailed analytical abilities with ability to manage multiple projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Compensation: $80,000-$110,000 base annually
